These 30 days are all about growth and self actualization. But amongst all this positive magic; we need take the time to take a moment each day to check in with ourselves. Our focus must turn inward to see how we really feel about the prompt of the day. We want to wiggle it into something that is meaningful to us and helps us along this journey. This mindful moment or self reflection may feel like an epiphany or simply a nice centered calm. Either way- it is important that we focus in on how we feel, what we think, and where we want to go next.
Take some time today to self reflect and even try to pencil this in for the rest of the 30 days. This may be a good tool to have to bring insight into each element.
My insights: During my self reflection I recognize that I feel out of balance with life. I mindlessly pass off my life imbalance on being too busy- but really I’m just as busy as I have always been. The element I seem to be missing is being calm and purposeful in my actions. When working on one task, I am often thinking of a few others. This makes me significantly less effective on the current task. I am going to try and be mindful of the moment. I am also going to use the mantra ‘calm and purposeful’.
In the world: During your self reflection, observe how you are interacting with your environment. Notice if there is any way for you to mildly change a behavior/alertness level/emotional reaction to elicit a more positive response from others- and in turn create a more lighthearted social/emotional/environment interaction.
